The Folks Are Coming!
Okay, not having access to my computer is soooooooooo annoying. I can't check everything at work because it's firewalled. But our modems finally came so now I'm ready to move the computer over to the new apartment.
It's been hard to not have internet access at home. You don't realize how much you're depended on it until you lose it.
Anyways, so we've had a couple of dinner parties so far since we've moved in. Well, just two to be exact but now the big one is next week when my roommate and I have both our folks over for dinner. I'm nervous about that one! lol After that, we'll probably have the house warming party finally.
THAT WAS MY AGENT ON THE PHONE....
So I did some extra work on a movie set a couple of weeks ago, and I met a talent agent and he wanted to represent me so.....I have an agent now. It's weird, 'cuz I don't really want one. The only reason why I agreed to do some extra work was because they said they'd pay me with union rates, which pays a LOT more than non-union. And I'm non-union. Anyways, I'll see how it goes. My agent keeps calling me to do some film work but I just don't have the time!! I can't keep calling in sick and besides, I don't want to waste my weekends being on a movie set all day. I've done it so many times now and it's so boring. I would prefer that he actually book me for auditions rather than just get me those boring extra jobs. Plus they treat extras like crap. The last job I did, I almost got into an argument with one of the crew members. I sometimes hate how fake this industry is. A lot of that crew actually worked on the canadian movie that's out right now called "Bon Cop Bad Cop". So these are pros who know what they're doing but they're all dickheads and they're always so unhappy and bitter on the set.
I don't think there's anything else to report. I'm so glad I'm finally moving the computer to the apartment soon. I can start blogging more regularly now! Plus, I have a power point presentation I need to work on for a meeting this week. If I don't get my computer up there soon I'm screwed!! I'll call in sick on the day of the meeting, lol! That is so a career-limiting move.
Anyhoo, that's all for now. WE STILL DON'T HAVE DRAPES. So again, no pictures yet.

ha, Dave's mom said she would make us drapes when we moved back in May. I still haven't seen any.
