The Grammy Post

So how 'bout those Grammys last night? I usually don't watch that many awards anymore, but if Madonna is going to be performing with the Gorillaz....well that's a must-see. By the way, wasn't that performance fantastic? The 3D hologram cartoons were quite impressive. My brother almost fell off his chair when he saw Madonna walk behind Murdoc because we all thought it was just a screen in the background showing the animation. Other stand-out performances: Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, John Legend, and Kelly Clarkson. Speaking of Kelly Clarkson, good for her for winning 2 Grammys! You can't help but feel very happy for her. She's come a long way since winning the American Idol competition.

And Kanye West...well...I think his music is genius, and so original, and yes I think he should've won best album BUT...he's sooooooo gotta drop the holier-than-thou attitude (I mean literally... anybody check out the latest cover of Rolling Stone?). The "Thank You List" was lame. I think his cockiness is getting on everyone's nerves. Still having said that, I think he was robbed of the best album win.
